The article made reference to the growing number of Latino&amp;#39;s in the U.S. and how there are less whites having children in states such as California and Texas; therefore, making them a minority group in their respective states. I found it interesting how the census shows Latino&amp;#39;s cultural influence as a progressive one that will continue to grow with the years. This blog made me think about a great point, which is what it means to be &amp;quot;Latino&amp;quot; in the first place. In a healthcare setting, interpreters can help with the communication between the patient and provider because the interpreter can inform the provider about the patients beliefs and provider will know how to communicate with a particular patient.
